The present study deals with the systematic description of macro and miofloral analysis Gangamopteris rajaensis Glossopteris indica from carbonaceous shale-coal bearing sequences Rajmahal Open Cast Mine, Basin, Jharkhand, India. floral diversity, age correlation, paleoenvironment Barakar Formation were well described. Morphological revealed reticulate venation pattern, anastomosing veins, absence midrib in . recovered megafloral assemblages suggest a late early Permian (Artiskian-Kungurian) for strata coal mine prevalence moderately warm climate during their deposition.
